What We Do
The gravity and scale of pedophile crimes have essentially rendered ineffective the current enforcement actions put in place by the institutions. The fight against the sexual exploitation of children, in fact, is hampered by:
- A lack of information of the characteristics, scale and dynamics of the problem
- The range of different laws in force in different countries
- The lack of resources, technologies and tools to carry out transnational on-line investigations.
Against this backdrop, Telefono Arcobaleno promotes studies and research on the socio-psychological and technological aspects in cooperation with public and private organizations, research centers and universities both in Italy and abroad.
